Christ Church - Messy Church

The next Messy Church will be on Saturday 10 January 2026 in the Jubilee Room.

We’ll be aiming to repeat the mood of our Christmas Messy Church in January, by focusing on a man ignored by everyone – except Jesus.

A great time for families, and everybody’s welcome at 4.00 p.m. in the Jubilee Room at Christ Church.

If you have not been before, Messy Church is a different way of doing church. It’s a hands-on experience for all ages with craft, stories, songs and snacks.

Messy Church is for all ages and appeals particularly to families. Why not try it if you’ve never been before, we would love to see you there.

Messy Church appeals especially to families with children. Come along and say hello, whether you are a regular or it is your first time, everyone’s welcome.

Have yourselves a Messy little Christmas…

Angels were made (and in many cases eaten), tails were pinned on donkeys, stars shone in the sky, sheep roamed the room, lights shone and mysterious boxes were opened as Messy Church in December did all kinds of stuff following the Christmas story. And we remembered that Christmas is a story of God caring so much for us that he came to live life beside us. This was a great session with lots of people and a lovely relaxed feel.

We’ll be aiming to repeat the mood with another Messy Church on Saturday 10 January 2026, focussing on a man ignored by everyone – except Jesus. A great time for families, and everybody’s welcome at 4.00 p.m. in the Jubilee Room at Christ Church.
