The barbecue

What an excellent idea it is in thirty degrees of heat to get at least two church members working hard next to an extremely hot object. Thank you, Neil and Alison Harding – you made the annual Messy Church and Little Stars barbecue on 11 July possible!

It really was a lovely setting to bring getting on for 50 people, families and helpers, together on the lawn in front of the church porch, eating burgers, sausages and mini magnums, reclining on the shady bits, with Pimms for the adults and plenty of games and imaginative play for the children. A lovely way to end the year’s programme.
