Banishing boredom with bubbles at Messy Church

At April Messy Church we painted fish with our hands, made little jars of rosemary oil, Bible scenes that moved, and yummy fish biscuits. We looked for Jesus and more besides…

We heard the story of an unexpected but very real Jesus meeting two friends on the road to Emmaus three days after they thought he was dead. And we ended by going outside and blowing bubbles to the four winds. You can’t stop a good story spreading!

May Messy Church is on Saturday 9 May at 4.00 p.m. in the Jubilee Room at Christ Church. We’d love to see you there.

If you have not been before, Messy Church is a different way of doing church. It’s a hands-on experience for all ages with craft, stories, songs and snacks.

Messy Church is for all ages and appeals particularly to families with children. Come along and say hello, whether you are a regular or it is your first time, everyone’s welcome, we would love to see you there.
