Christ Church - Messy Church

The next Messy Church will be on -Saturday 13 December 2025 in the Jubilee Room when we will be looking forward to Christmas.

The theme will be 'God enters the world' and Meeting the baby who is everything.

Join us for fun Christmas activities and celebration with song.

If you have not been before, Messy Church is a different way of doing church. It’s a hands-on experience for all ages with craft, stories, songs and snacks.

Messy Church is for all ages and appeals particularly to families. Why not try it if you’ve never been before, we would love to see you there.

Messy Church appeals especially to families with children. Come along and say hello, whether you are a regular or it is your first time, everyone’s welcome.

Messy Church on 8 November literally hummed with activity on all sides as we decorated cupcakes with vines, found an invisible message, wrote prayers on emojis and did lots of other things including experiencing what it’s like to tread grapes (well, wet sponges anyway)! The theme was grace – Jesus giving us more than we expect or deserve – with his story of the workers in the vineyard.
