The next Messy Church will be on Saturday 11th July our annual Little Stars and Messy Church Barbeque from 12 noon.

What do wind, fire, and doves all have in common? They’ve all been used as symbols for the Holy Spirit – powering, transforming (s’mores, anyone?), and bringing peace.

All came into play in the crafts and activities at May Messy Church, as we remembered the day the Holy Spirit came for every Christian (hence the cake for what many call the birthday of the church, and boats driven by wind).

We heard the story of fisherman Peter finding that the Holy Spirit had propelled him into public speaking, and how the disciples started telling everyone about God despite the scoffing. All in inimitable Messy Church style!

If you have not been before, Messy Church is a different way of doing church. It’s a hands-on experience for all ages with craft, stories, songs and snacks.

Messy Church is for all ages and appeals particularly to families with children. Come along and say hello, whether you are a regular or it is your first time, everyone’s welcome, we would love to see you there.
