Little Stars: End of Summer Term Picnic 

Here is a snap shot from our Little Stars ‘jolly’. The children (and adults) managed to finish up most of the food by the end of our party, but then there was a lot of energy expended with the parachute games! 

We also heard one of Jesus’ stories about the Rich Man who wanted to hold a party for his friends. He organised delicious food, a Sarah Raven cut-flower bouquet for the centre piece and even got Coldplay to perform. But all his friends found an excuse as to why they could not come! So, he told his PA to go out and see who was in the street and local park and invite anyone who was there to come instead … as you can imagine some pretty rum looking characters turned up, but WOW did they have a good time! We then went away to think about whether there were some people on the edge of our friendship group who we might offer a playdate or cuppa to. Our final act was for Jan C, Jan G, Madeleine, Margaret & Gussie to say goodbye and bless those who were leaving to start school next term. Darcey, Elodie & Ben - they will be missed, but we know you are going to have a great time!
